It was a harsh night. I was not able to sleep in the railway coaches. Partly because of the fear that I may wake up after my destination has passed, but mostly because people were continuously moving in and out of our compartment. Well it is 5 am in morning, Bhusawal station. The weather is just phenomenal. It is dawn and the blue cloudy sky seems awesome. Got down to take my first tea cup. The tea is too sweet for me. Feels like a sugar syrup and no tea flavors. I only am taking tea to compliment the beautiful climate around here. Air feels like the one I remember growing up in, before I left for Mumbai. The dryness in the air feels beautiful. And the air seems more oxygenated because I feel fresher here than in my cosmopolitan Mumbai.
Another great thing is I am reading 'Long Walk To Freedom' Chapter 21. Nelson Mandela, too., is returning to place he was born and where he spent his childhood. Well I am not going exactly there but I am in places where I have spent my childhood. I too., understand him when he speaks about the nostalgia and the mixed feeling while he is visiting his past. Actually I did connect with his circumcision incidence also, not that I had circumcision(being born Hindu), but I certainly felt his emotions, when he specifically said that this was the event after which he wasn't a child, anymore. Only the difference is that I don't exactly know the instance, after which I have lost my childhood innocence forever. I have tried hunting down my past many times for that but I couldn't find the exact moment. Well I wonder if all people do the same? Now I have to make a journey as a man.
The beautiful monsoon winds is kissing me. She is the best friend I ever had. She has been with me at my dear one's death as also during my studies. Many of life's small happiness I have found with her. This wind always reminds me of 'The Greatness Guide' Chapter, 'Being In The Breeze'. Its just so beautiful. The wind is beautifully cold, not chilly. Gently caressing me. I always have found happiness in small things in life. Some of my most memorable experience include Drying myself up after bathing in Sun soaking in all its heat, floating on water, dancing in rain, or watching small creatures like ants, spiders and small birds make their livelihood.
