Inspiration:
Words are usually not the only thing that can mend our emotions, in good as well as bad times. All one asks for is the silent presence of the person we love. No one can console a person when the person looses a dear one. At such time words don't help, all a person asks is someone who will hold him/her close. Many times on long walks, we need not speak with the person we love, just their presence with us in that holistic silence is all we ask and are grateful forever. This is an attempt to express the same thing what, "Silence speaks louder than words.", says.
Standing there in silence,
As we let our presence speak.
Why words are necessary?
Is all I wanna ask.
You complain and question my silence
When all I wanna do is...
Listen to your heart speak.
We have and will walk miles together.
When the sorrows struck their way,
In my life, my silence needed no words.
It isn't the words that console,
But your calming silence
Which gives all the calming courage
I ask from life.
When happiness came to life,
Your silent smile mattered more,
Than the clusters of happy laughter.
For they depicted everything
I asked for,
Love, pride, loyalty and
An assurance of you presence, forever.
