Pain:Practical Techniques

Few physical techniques to overcome hurt:

Deep Breathing Technique:

The Indian scriptures, says that the body and the mind are glued together by our prana or our breathing. We will see few techniques based on this fact that mind can be affected by affecting the body and vice-verse.
For this breathing technique, you don’t necessarily need to sit in Padmasana, or lay down.

Steps:

  1. Slowly breathe in and fill your lower part of the lungs, the lower apical lobe, pushing the stomach out.Now the upper part, the upper apical lobe, of lungs.
  2. Slowly breathe out, first from the upper part and later from the lower part of the lungs. Emptying them. The minute you start breathing in again, just stop because you may not have breathed out properly. Breathe out so that you feel your lungs are completely squeezed and you feel you can no more breath out.
  3. Now repeat the breathing in and out for at least 10-15 minutes, twice or thrice a day.

Initially, u may find it hard to take long slow breathes. No problem. Breathe a bit shallow but remember to squeeze out the lungs, each time you breathe out.

Physical Exercise:

There is a saying in Sanskrit which say, ‘The energy left unused turns foul.’ All the bad thoughts you have are result of that unused energy. So, spend that energy too.

You have ample choices, running, sports, jogging, walking, aerobics, hitting gym and many more.
In Africa, few tribes believe that dreams are a bad sign. Because the dreams justify that earlier day wasn't lived up to its full potential.

Hobbies:

Find new hobbies. You have so many choices there also. Close your eyes and pic one. The new hobby I’m thinking of to start writing with left hand. And few more like learning guitar, violin, swimming and many more. Let your mind fly high in excitement and find one.

Start doing new things:

Always ask yourself, ‘when was the last I had done something for first time?’ always keep on learning and doing new stuffs. Stuffs that makes chill run across the spine. Stay close to nature. Because it makes you feel good, as the calmness of the nature is induced into you.

Enjoy the life and kick live happily.

WillG

I love to write under pseudonym WillG as I believe whatever I write, it actually is written through me. My writing is my impression of the expressions the world has in my life. I know you'll like it. Apart from that I love coding, violin and am an engineer.
