Poem: School Days

Inspiration:

Well, who doesn't get nostalgic thinking about the school days? Who doesn't get nostalgic thinking about the fun we had in our school? That first love, that first prom, that first elocution, those results and all the lectures. Everything about school is really great and makes everyone feel nostalgic about it. Here's how my school days went...

I remember my school days,
And the daily routine, and the daily ways.
I still remember my school dress,
Green shirt, green pants made me distress.
Still I loved the way I looked,
Because it was a ticket to heaven's nook.

I still remember the morning prayer,
And late children, standing in despair.
I still remember the morning songs,
And the period starts as the bell dongs.
Still I love those morning songs,
Its beauty for I still long.

I still remember the recesses' fun,
Laughing, giggling at friend's pun.
I still remember the teasing friends,
Which changed just as the fashion trends.
Still I love the recesses and the teasing,
We say 'no' but it was always pleasing.

I still remember my subject teachers,
The daily home-work and the daily lectures.
I still remember the teacher's shout,
Staring outside window, carrying no doubts.
Still I love that Home-work,
Developed all my talents as they lurk.

I still remember the laughs and the chats,
Caring friends and their caring pats.
I still remember all my friends,
And the long bell as the school ends.
Still I love talking to them,

The love still remains the same.
And far I go, I still love the days in school,
Taught to use love and hard work's tool.
Sadly and gladly those days are over,
But the beauty of the days remains forever...

I love to write under pseudonym WillG as I believe whatever I write, it actually is written through me. My writing is my impression of the expressions the world has in my life. I know you'll like it. Apart from that I love coding, violin and am an engineer.
